About the Role
Burford School is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Operative to support its boarding community of around 100 students and staff. The role involves preparing and serving daily breakfast, supporting evening meal service, providing snacks for boarders, and assisting with Sunday lunch. The postholder will maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safety, contributing to a positive dining environment that supports student wellbeing. On-site accommodation is available at a reduced rate.
Requirements
- Experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and commitment to safeguarding
