The Global Leadership Experience (GLE) is UWC Atlantic’s flagship summer short course for students aged 15–17.
Reimagined for 2026, the curriculum is rooted in UWC Atlantic’s Systems Transformation Pathway (STP) and 60-year history of pioneering education.
To deliver this ambitious vision, we are assembling a team of Visiting Faculty—experienced educators and systems thinkers ready to pilot a new standard in summer education.
Working as a team of 6, you will guide a diverse cohort of international students through a fast-paced journey involving interactive workshops, outdoor activities, and community engagement.
Students will explore systems practice, regenerative systems, and community design using the college’s coastal estate and surroundings as a living classroom.
This is a professional teaching contract. You are expected to be an active Residential Faculty presence—sharing meals with students, supporting evening events, and contributing to the holistic educational environment.
The period of work will be:
- July 30 – August 16, 2026 (18 days inclusive)
- Pre-Course: attendance at 2x virtual planning meetings (June/July)
- Pre-Course: 1 x virtual safeguarding training (June/July)
