St Leonards is a friendly and forward-looking independent, coeducational, boarding and day school situated on an historic campus at the heart of the university town of St Andrews. We deliver the inspiring, globally-recognised International Baccalaureate curriculum (which has been praised by university admissions officers for its focus on deepening learning learning, offering wider subject options, and enriching minds) for pupils aged five to 18, and were the first school to be accredited as an all-through IB school in Scotland.
We are seeking an energetic, proactive Engagement Officer to champion our alumni (Seniors) and parent relations. You will build global connections, manage inspiring events, and drive meaningful fundraising campaigns. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking External Relations team and offers the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on both our global network and the daily lives of current pupils.
What You Will Deliver
â—Ź Grow our alumni network through warm outreach, newsletters, and social media.
â—Ź Plan and run reunions, regional gatherings, and celebration dinners.
â—Ź Coordinate the regular giving and annual fund programmes.
â—Ź Act as the champion for our HubSpot CRM, keeping alumni and parent records accurate and GDPR-compliant.
â—Ź Connect alumni with classrooms for mentoring, careers talks, and work experience.
â—Ź Play a central role in our upcoming 150th Anniversary Campaign.
You will ensure that the Senior and parent communities feel genuinely connected to the life of the school, not only as a source of philanthropic support, but because an engaged alumni network is a living expression of the school’s values and a meaningful resource for current pupils.
What We Are Looking For
Education & Experience
â—Ź Degree or equivalent professional experience.
â—Ź Proven track record in community engagement, alumni relations, or events management.
â—Ź Hands-on experience managing a CRM database (HubSpot is a major plus).
â—Ź Understanding of GDPR regulations for data management.
