Course outline:
New Basic Compliance Assessment (BCA) guidance came into effect on 1 June 2026, introducing tighter compliance thresholds and a new Red-Amber-Green (RAG) rating framework for Student sponsors. For schools, these changes increase the importance of effective monitoring, accurate reporting and early intervention where issues arise.
Training topics include:
- What has changed under the revised BCA framework and why it matters for schools
- Understanding the new compliance thresholds and RAG rating system
- Key recording duties for sponsored students at the end of term and throughout the holidays
- Timely tips to support smooth visa processing over the summer
- Common compliance pitfalls for sponsors during the holiday period
- Visa refusals: reporting requirements and the impact on your BCA performance metrics
- Monitoring key compliance data and identifying potential compliance concerns
This session will help schools take a proactive approach to sponsor licence compliance, manage risk effectively and ensure they are well prepared for the year ahead.
