Located in beautiful Bath, Prior Park College is looking to appoint a Houseparent for our well-established boarding and day school with a warm, supportive and happy atmosphere with excellent pastoral care.  Our house staff are approachable, positive and friendly who are able to establish a healthy rapport with pupils, staff and parents.

The role of Houseparent is residential and will be responsible for the smooth running of the House and for the wellbeing and happiness of its pupils working to support our girls’ Boarding House ‘St Mary’s’. This is  an exciting opportunity for a candidate with vision, experience, and energy to shape a forward-thinking approach to boarding and pastoral care at Prior Park College.

As Houseparent you will offer a visible presence around the house and will build strong relationships within the Prior Park community. We believe that being a boarder at Prior Park College equips students to thrive in life and the role of Houseparent is essential in helping to create a culture of curiosity, generosity, and courage.

This is a non-teaching role and over a 52-week period, 43 hours per week will be worked on average – Salary £30,000pa. 

Set in a stunning location Prior Park College established in 1830 is an exceptional 11-18 HMC independent school overlooking the Georgian City of Bath a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
