Course Outline
This seminar supports pastoral staff working primarily with teenage girls, who want to increase their understanding of how best to support them through their teenage years.
The day will be presented by Dr Jody Walshe, an educational and child psychologist who will explain the physiological impact of adolescence on teenage girls, including physical and emotional development. Practical recommendations for working with and supporting young women will also be discussed.

Trainer: Dr Jody Walshe, Educational and Child Psychologist
Dr Jody Walshe is an Educational and Child Psychologist working in London borough. Jody completed her doctorate at the University of East London. She is also a Consultant Psychologist providing consultations for foster carers and supervising social workers. She is a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council.
Before commencing her training, Jody worked as a teacher, learning support assistant and tutor with young people from 5-19. The focus of much of her work looked at anxiety and mental health issues in school settings. Her doctoral research explored the experiences, perceptions and training needs of secondary school staff working with self-harm.

Hi I have two albums of photos taken at what appears to be a boarding school in 1945/6. I don't know the school - there is only one photo showing any part of the exterior. The photos are excellent - the master who took them was clearly a gifted amateur. I'd like to try to trace the school and ask if they'd like the albums for their archives. I've attempted to scan the one with the exterior. It's firmly glued into the album, so apologies for the poor quality.
