Sunningdale is a small family owned country boarding prep school in Berkshire which offers an outstanding all round education. Sunningdale only has 110 boys. The vast majority of them board and two thirds of the boys are here at weekends to enjoy and take part in the full programme of weekend activities. The small size of the school means that we get to know the boys very well and can support and encourage them and make sure that they fulfil their potential. They all get to take part. Every boy in the school was on stage for the school play. Everyone gets to play for a team. All these things matter because it makes them all feel valued and part of it. Boys are in forms of 12 and each subject is taught by a degree level subject specialist. They are taught by teachers who have superb subject knowledge but who are also passionate about the subjects they teach. This enthusiasm filters through to the boys. The boys from Sunningdale go on to the best schools in the country including Eton, Harrow, Stowe, Radley, Winchester and Sherborne among others. Sunningdale is a traditional prep school, however we have updated things a great deal over the last few years to ensure we are at the cutting edge of new technology, but we retain all those things that have made prep schools great. Finally, Sunningdale is a very happy school where all boys become part of the family and where they all have the chance to shine.
