Lime House School offers both boarding and day school education to 150 pupils aged 3 ½ to 18. Set in a delightful and safe rural environment the school offers small class sizes which permits the individual attention needed for each child to achieve their full potential. A combination of excellent teaching, learning support where needed and parental involvement, ensures this outcome for all pupils. Junior School children make use of the Senior School’s facilities and specialist teaching staff. At GCSE and A level, results are outstanding with 70% of A level grades achieved in 2013 being of an A*/A or B grade standard. Provision of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, YASS, Sports Leadership and Engineering Education Schemes equips older pupils with additional skills needed to meet the challenges of today’s competitive world where GCSE and A level success are the norm. Being part of a thriving global community offers pupils a unique opportunity of being educated alongside pupils from Spain, Hong Kong, Germany, China, Finland, Macau, Kazakhstan, Russia, Saudia Arabia and Switzerland. Boarding pupils have a personal tutor who keeps in regular contact with parents and monitors the progress of each child in the school. The school has a small CReSTeD registered dyslexic unit and there is a full range of evening and weekend activities for all pupils. ‘Taylor Scholarships’ for new entrants to the school can help reduce school fees substantially with two 100% scholarships available.
