Leweston School is an independent day and boarding school, co-educational in the Nursery, Prep, Senior School and Sixth Form. Leweston’s values are based upon a supportive Catholic ethos.

Our motto, ‘Gaudere et Bene Facere’ – ‘Rejoice and Do Well’ dates from the seventeenth century and applies to pupils and staff alike. It suggests not only that if something is worth doing, it is worth doing well, but also that it is worth doing in the right frame of mind, one which is positive, outgoing and cheerful. With a long established reputation as a boarding school with strong pastoral care, the close ties with other schools in the South West provide ample opportunity for the pupils to socialise with their peer groups.
