A stone’s throw away from the green spaces of Hyde Park, Kensington Park School is a small, independent, co-educational school for students aged 11-18. An academically purposeful school, KPS offers excellent sporting and cultural opportunities, outstanding pastoral care, and exceptional boarding facilities for students aged 14 and over, in the heart of cosmopolitan central London.

Our small class sizes ensure that we are a friendly, welcoming school where each individual is nurtured and challenged to become the best possible version of themselves. As we prepare our students for GCSE and A Level qualifications, we also enable them to develop the skills that they need to succeed outside the classroom, at university and beyond. KPS students are resilient, motivated individuals who share a thirst for learning and our core values of kindness, moral integrity, responsibility and a sense of service.

Our 21st century curriculum has been carefully designed to meet the needs of our students as they grow and develop as individuals. From Computer Science to Mandarin, introduced from Year 7, the KPS curriculum prepares our young people for the fast-paced and ever-changing world around them. As important as our formal curriculum, which challenges and develops our students academically, is our extensive programme of co-curricular activities. From high-quality music and drama clubs, to a variety of sports activities including netball, football, swimming, rock climbing and even ice skating, our co-curricular programme aims to excite enquiring young minds and inspire the development of new skills.

Supported by a committed and dedicated staff, KPS students are encouraged to take an active role in their education. Our recent GCSE and A Level results, as well as our university offers in the Sixth Form, are testament not only to the ability and motivation of our students, but also to the outstanding quality of teaching and learning at KPS. In 2021, KPS students were accepted at universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, UCL, Imperial, Bristol, and Boston (USA), for courses including psychology, engineering, biomedical sciences, business management, economics, among many more.

At KPS, we celebrate the talents and achievements of our students both inside and outside the classroom. We have academic, sport, and music scholarships available for entry at 11+ and 13+, whilst the Kensington Scholars programme has been designed to support academically ambitious students applying to join the Sixth Form.

We welcome all prospective students and their families to join one of our Open Evenings, or arrange an individual visit to the School through our Admissions team, to find out more about what KPS has to offer.
