Founded in 1863, ʻIolani serves approximately 2,300 students in grades K–12. Recent campus additions include a five-story Residence Hall for up to 100 students (Grade 9 – 12) from around the world, a K–1 community featuring biophilic design, the K–6 Science & Innovation Center, the Sullivan Center for Innovation and Leadership, the Arrillaga Student Center, performing arts studios, and an esports center. Athletics are an integral part of student life, with 72% of Upper School students participating in one of more than 110 athletic teams that foster teamwork, leadership and ʻIolani’s “One Team” culture.
