General Information Concord College is a highly successful international boarding school providing GCSE and A Level courses. Set in 77 acres of Shropshire parkland, the college combines outstanding facilities with first-rate academic performance. Students are cared for by a dedicated staff in a safe and beautiful environment. Sports Sports facilities are excellent. The outstanding sports hall enables students to play various games including badminton, basketball, netball, uni-hoc, pool and football. There are also squash courts, fitness and weight training gyms and a dance studio. Other sports that are taught include archery, judo, fencing, canoeing and rock climbing. The heated indoor pool provides the opportunity for swimming and students can train to become lifeguards. Extra Curricular Concord has a regular programme of evening and weekend activities to give the students opportunities to develop their self-confidence, skills and talents. Sport, music, art, drama and dance, as well as chess, debating, politics, public speaking and cookery are offered as clubs or societies. Students can also take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and an outdoor education programme to encourage team building, cooperation and management skills.
