Bilton Grange Preparatory School is one of the foremost co-educational boarding and day, pre-prep and preparatory, schools in the country. Taking pupils from age 4-13, Bilton Grange prepares them for entry into the country’s leading senior schools including Rugby, Eton, Oundle and Uppingham.

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, Bilton Grange is just 15 minutes away from the M1 and M6 networks, 40 minutes from Birmingham Airport and 10 minutes from Rugby station (50 minutes to London Euston).

Set in a stunning Pugin mansion, Bilton Grange Preparatory School benefits from over ninety acres of heritage parkland providing the perfect theatre of dreams for children to be enthusiastic, energised and inquisitive learners.

With the best specialist teachers, amazing facilities and some of the smallest class sizes in the area, BG is where children truly fulfil their potential, grow their confidence and unlock their talents: the School’s broad curriculum allows us to inspire our pupils and instil in them outstanding learning habits at an early age. Design Technology and Science are taught by specialists in fully-equipped labs. Top musicians provide specialist tuition and children can take part in a range of choirs and instrumental ensembles as well as drama productions in our fully equipped theatre. Swimming is taught in our own 25m indoor pool; Design Technology is taught in our well-equipped DT rooms. Children engage in further sports like horse riding and playing golf on our 9-hole course as well as adventurous training like Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, Guides in our woodlands and beyond.

Bilton Grange’s new boarding house, Earle House, was designed from a child’s perspective to feel like a true home from home. Deliberately separate from the main school building, it offers cosy bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, communal spaces that foster independence and friendship and a bespoke helter-skelter-style slide allowing pupils to playfully descend straight into the dining room and lower social hub areas. Co-educational at prep level, the house balances joy with safety: matrons are on duty 24/7, every floor has a medical bay, and wristband access ensures security. Several staff live in Earle House with their families, which helps create a strong sense of belonging and security,Β Β and they have access to rooftop gardens when they need their own tranquil personal space. Flexi, weekly, and full boarding options reflect changing family needs, making Earle House a model for the future of prep boarding.

With space to play and room to learn, children enjoy the best education and an idyllic childhood at Bilton Grange.
