Barnardiston Hall is a co-educational preparatory school for children aged 6 months to 13 years. We are set in 36 acres of beautiful Suffolk countryside some 30 minutes from Cambridge and 1 1/2 hours from London. We welcome day children, full and weekly boarders and many of our day children flexi-board. We have excellent escorted links by train from London making us ideally placed for parents who would like their child(ren) to be educated in the safe Suffolk countryside whilst still enjoying all the benefits of London living at the weekends.
We accept children of varying abilities and have an excellent CReSTeD registered Learning Support Department called ‘The Bridge’. We prepare children for Common Entrance at 13 and many children are awarded scholarships each year in music, art, sport, drama and academia.
