Boarding at ACS International School Cobham

ACS Cobham offers a distinctive international boarding experience for students aged 13–18, combining a globally recognised education with a supportive, vibrant community and outstanding facilities. Set within a beautiful 128-acre campus in Surrey, the school is just 30 minutes from Central London and close to Heathrow, making it particularly attractive to internationally mobile families.

With more than 70 nationalities represented, boarding at ACS Cobham provides a genuinely multicultural environment where students build friendships, independence and confidence while experiencing different cultures and perspectives. Students can choose between 5-day weekly boarding and 7-day full boarding, offering flexibility for different family circumstances.

Boarders benefit from modern accommodation, dedicated study and social spaces, residential House Parents and comprehensive wellbeing support. The campus also provides exceptional sporting, performing arts, STEM and recreational facilities, alongside an extensive programme of weekend activities, trips and experiences.

Academic choice is a major strength. Boarders can follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma, Advanced Placement (AP) courses or American High School Diploma, with dedicated university counselling supporting pathways to leading universities in the UK, USA and around the world.

The quality of the boarding experience was recognised in 2026 when ACS Cobham won the prestigious national Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) Award for Supporting International Boarders. The award recognises the school’s commitment to ensuring international students feel welcomed, supported and empowered to thrive through strong pastoral relationships and cultural inclusion.

Ultimately, boarding at ACS Cobham is about much more than accommodation. It is a global community where students feel at home, develop independence and resilience, and are prepared to become confident, compassionate and future-ready global citizens.
