We seek to appoint from September 2024 an enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of Computing and ICT to join the existing teaching team, where Computing is delivered across Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level, and ICT is delivered across Key Stage 3 with MOS qualifications taken in Years 9 (Word) and 10 (Excel). There may also be an opportunity to extend the role/timetable offered to support the Head of Digital Learning in the delivery of staff training in using technology to enhance and support classroom teaching, or to maintain the school website.
We welcome applications both from experienced Computer Science teachers and good graduates who wish to undertake teacher training via our well-established school-based Initial Teacher Training Programme. The ability to teach any other curriculum subject, e.g. Maths, should be stated in the application and may make it possible to offer a larger role.
