This independent day and boarding School in north Essex has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified and passionate Physics Teacher to join this ‘Excellent in Every Aspect’ ISI rated School. This role is a full-time position (Monday to Saturday, 44 lessons per fortnight) and will require the successful person to teach across Years 9 to 13 within our Senior School.

Our Science department is a large and vibrant department consisting of thirteen teachers supported by a team of specialist technicians. There is a collegiate culture within the department, in which the sharing of ideas and best practice is a key feature. We are seeking a team member who is committed to delivering exceptional learning to our students and is willing to participate in STEAM based activities. The Physics department teaches AQA Physics to separate science students and AQA Trilogy to double science students. In the sixth form the Physics AQA specification is taught to A-level students and there are also IB Diploma Physics classes.
