St Catherineβs School seeks to appoint an inspiring and committed Teacher of Biology to join our thriving Science department from January 2026. This is a part-time role, with the possibility of a full-time position for candidates able to offer a second subject.
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning, and who is eager to contribute to the academic and pastoral development of our students. The successful candidate will join a well-established and supportive team that places high value on student engagement, intellectual curiosity, and personal growth.
Biology is taught in a lively and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to see the subject as both relevant and exciting. We aim to foster a love of learning and a deep understanding of the natural world; while also supporting students to develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive beyond the classroom.
We welcome applications from qualified teachers with a strong track record in the classroom, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in working with young people as they navigate both academic challenges and personal development. A commitment to pastoral care, collaborative working, and professional growth is essential.
St Catherineβs is a school that values both academic excellence and the holistic development of every student. If you are enthusiastic about making a meaningful contribution to a dynamic and forward-thinking school community, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Closing date: 12 noon, Friday 31 October 2025
