Full time – required for September 2024 or January 2025

We require a committed and inspiring teacher to lead Three-Dimensional Design. You should have excellent practical skills and experience of working in a range of materials and processes including CAD/CAM.

The subject has recently transitioned from Design and Technology to Art and Design Three-Dimensional Design, so this may be a suitable role for someone with previous experience in either of these disciplines. Pupils study under OCR Three-Dimensional Design at GCSE, and AQA Three-Dimensional Design at A Level. In the first three years of study, 3D Design forms part of a Creative Arts carousel of subjects.

You will be expected to be ICT proficient although training can be given where necessary.

You will be required to research aspects of the curriculum and prepare resources to deliver the exam content for GCSE and A Level. You should be able to promote the subject to parents and pupils and be able to organise displays, trips and outside speakers as required.
