Swimming Teacher
QSS is a well-established Swim School based South Hertfordshire providing group and private lessons covering all abilities from children aged 4yrs upwards and Adults. We have developed an outstanding reputation for high quality teaching in South Hertfordshire and surrounding area
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic part-time Swimming Instructor to join our team on Friday afternoons from 4.00pm to 7.00pm during term time. In addition there may also be some cover work on Wednesday, Thursday afternoon 16.00-18.30 and/or Saturday morning 8.45am-1.45pm.
Applicants must hold Swim England (ASA) Level 2 or STA equivalent Swimming Teaching Qualification and be available to teach every week during the school term time. Applicants should also be confident, be prepared to teach in and out of the water and have a good understanding of the Swim England awards scheme.
RLSS or STA Pool Lifeguard qualification would be an advantage, but not essential.
Swimming Teacher rate of pay is £21.57 per hour.

This role carries a high level of safeguarding responsibilities. Full safeguarding checks will be carried out on the successful applicant. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
