Subject Lead of Religious Studies

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Subject Leader of Religious Studies to lead the subject across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a passion for Religious Studies (called Religion, Ethics and Philosophy at Queen’s), committed to achieving excellent outcomes and inspiring a love of learning. You will lead curriculum development, monitor pupil progress, support examination preparation, and promote the subject throughout the school.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A relevant degree and QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Religious Studies at KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • A commitment to high academic standards and excellent pastoral care

As a member of our vibrant school community, you will also contribute to the wider life of the College through tutoring, co-curricular activities and school events.
