The school is a popular choice for local families who attend on our flexi boarding package, as well as for full boarders from further afield in the UK and internationally. This is due to a wide range of factors including our facilities, academic pathways and results, pastoral care, the boarding and flexi-boarding ethos and environment, wide range of trips and co-curricular activities and the resultant attitudes of its pupils.

We offer:

  • Professional, supportive and committed staff team
  • Access to staff employee assistance programme
  • Reduced price theatre tickets as part of the staff extra-curricular activities programme
  • Access to Gatton Park events
  • Possibility to be involved with school excursions, including trips abroad
  • Convenient location, close to the A23 and M25

We seek an outstanding individual for this position available in one of our Boarding Houses. This is ideal experience for future teachers or for those who wish to pursue a career related to working with young people. This is a non-residential post and could be used as a steppingstone to a PGCE course or other work within a school environment.

It is ideal to have had experience working with young people but not a necessity. You will need to support the Head of House in the day to day running of the Boarding House. You will also be involved in our broad and varied co-curricular programme and also our weekend trips programme.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and flexible individual to join our dedicated and friendly team.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is understanding, kind and supportive and with an excellent sense of humour

• Is proactive, energetic and enjoys arranging and leading activities

• Has good organisational skills and a genuine interest in the welfare of students

The school reserves the right to appoint prior to the closing date.  For further information and details of how to apply, please visit the school website: Current Vacancies (raa-school.co.uk).
