Receptionist and PA to Head of Boarding

Contract:                Term time (39 weeks) only plus five additional days to be agreed each year

Term:                       Permanent

Hours:                Job Share: 15 hours per week, 8.00am until 4.30pm Thursday and Friday

(Includes one hour unpaid lunch break each day)

Starting date:       15 April 2024 (or by negotiation)

Reporting to:        Head of Boarding

We are seeking to appoint a confident and cheerful Receptionist and PA to the Head of Boarding to work within our thriving boarding department. As the first point of contact you will be experienced and confident in delivering a high level of customer service to parents, visitors, students and staff.  You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a professional approach and a high standard of presentation at all times.

You will have previous administrative experience in a school or office environment, excellent communications skills and be proficient in all Microsoft office programmes.  The role would suit an independent worker who is able to multi-task, willing to learn and develop, and who is flexible and adaptable in their approach. A smart, professional manner and appearance is essential.

The successful candidates will need to meet the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
