Queen’s College Prep School seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Prep School Teacher (Reception class) to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will inspire pupils through high-quality teaching, creativity, and a commitment to academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, creating engaging, purposeful and ambitious learning experiences that enable every child to thrive.
- Deliver high-quality Reception provision through a balance of purposeful play, child-initiated learning and adult-led teaching.
- Maintain high standards of planning, teaching and assessment, responding to the individual needs of every child.
- Monitor children’s learning and development through effective observation, assessment and record-keeping.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the EYFS and Pre-Prep.
- Build strong relationships with parents, communicating effectively about children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
- Participate fully in school life, departmental meetings and ongoing professional development.
