The Role

Inspire children to learn in the beautiful historic parkland and gardens of Gatton Park, Surrey.

You will lead groups of primary school children around the gardens and natural habitats running activities in our curriculum-linked programmes and then assist in planning and running activities for children and families during the school holidays. You will also assist the education manager in all aspects of running a busy education centre. The role would suit a teacher interested in focusing their creativity on inspiring children to learn about and love nature.

You will need to be experienced in teaching children in an educational setting and have a strong interest in outdoor learning. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly and welcoming personality. You will be an organised person, with good IT skills. You will be part of a small team and will also assist with the management of our volunteers.
