Join The King’s School, Canterbury as Co-Curricular Director for our Summer Programmes!

This summer, we are proud to host two outstanding residential programmes:

  • A residential exchange programme: A bespoke experience for students aged 9โ€“13 from our partner school in The King’s School, Shenzhen, China.

  • The Global Summer School: An exciting opportunity for international students aged 8โ€“17 to enhance their English skills while exploring specialist academies in Sports, Music & Performance, Pre-University Preparations, and International Relations.

The Role

As a key member of the Summer Programmes leadership team, you will ensure an exciting, dynamic, and safe co-curricular experience for students aged 8โ€“17. You will develop and implement a diverse programme of activities, lead a team of activity leaders, and ensure all events align with the schoolโ€™s values and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive programme of excursions, social events, and enrichment activities.
  • Manage and support a team of activity leaders, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue bookings, transport, and risk assessments.
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging environment, ensuring student welfare and safeguarding.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual with experience of managing co-curricular programmes, events or youth activities.ย  You will have strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and manage staff.ย  A proactive, adaptable and student focussed approach is essential.
