The role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and innovative House Parent to oversee the responsibility for a girls’ senior boarding house. The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of the pastoral care provision required in a boarding community and will be able to lead and implement this through a skilled and dedicated residential team. Flexibility, resilience and commitment to a residential boarding post are essential requirements.

 

This is a residential position and therefore accommodation is provided.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • have experience within a boarding school community or similar environment
  • be committed to teaching a lesson allocation, should a suitable subject be available
  • have a real interest in the development and support that pastoral care offers
  • demonstrate enthusiasm, determination and excellent communication skills
  • demonstrate a responsible and pro-active attitude

 

Flexibility, resilience and commitment to a residential boarding post are essential requirements.
