Course outline:
This session will consider trends and developments in safeguarding. There will be a particular focus on Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance for England but the content will be relevant to all safeguarding practitioners.
Current safeguarding challenges—including in digital and online environments—and their potential implications for compliance and practice will be explored, along with recent high-profile safeguarding cases and lessons learned.

- Understand the latest KCSIE guidance
- Gain practical strategies for implementing updates across school and boarding settings
- Explore current issues and trends impacting safeguarding today.
