Are you an innovative, forward-thinking music educator looking to make a real impact?

It is an exciting time for Music at Queen’s. Bolstered by the recent appointment of our new Director of Performing Arts and Assistant Head Claire Davies, we are actively promoting academic music and helping it regain traction at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an engaging music curriculum to students from Pre-Prep through to Year 9. (Note: An ability to teach Music at GCSE is advantageous but not essential.)
  • Provide Musical Direction for our major school productions: Aladdin Jnr (Years 5 & 6) and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Years 7–9).
  • Bring fresh ideas and a passion for driving academic music engagement across the school.
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of peripatetic instrumental teachers to build engagement and develop further the co-curricular musical offer within the school. 

This role offers creative and ambitious practitioners a genuine opportunity to grow, develop and inspire students.
