The Royal Alexandra & Albert School is a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted, April 2024), where our boarding provision was recently judged as ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted, 2025). The inspectors highlighted that our “students are making significant progress,” noting they are “supported through a culture of high expectation, helping them to achieve the best they can.” We are a lively and purposeful co-educational, comprehensive state boarding school for children aged 7 to 18 years, with approximately 700 flexi-boarders and 300 full boarders.
