Elmhurst Ballet School, in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet, is a world‑renowned centre for the training and education of talented, passionate and committed young ballet dancers. We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Teacher of English (0.8) to join our Academic Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a unique and vibrant school environment where academic excellence sits alongside world-class dance training.

The Role

You will teach English across Key Stages 3–5, including A-Level English Literature, delivering high-quality lessons that engage, challenge and inspire students of varying abilities.

As a key member of the Academic Team, you will:

  • Deliver excellent teaching, learning and assessment
  • Monitor and support student progress in line with school policies
  • Contribute to curriculum enrichment, including trips and activities
  • Play an active role in the wider life of the school, including tutoring and assemblies
  • Promote and embody the Elmhurst Way in all aspects of school life

We welcome applications from teachers with a second subject (such as Psychology or Media Studies).
