Rugby School is looking to appoint a suitably qualified, Graduate Theatre Technician to join a thriving Performing Arts team based in Rugby’s Macready Theatre.

The Macready Theatre is a 250-seat receiving venue which runs a professional programme alongside Rugby School’s academic and co-curricular Performing Arts activities.

 

We seek to appoint a highly skilled Graduate Theatre Technician. The role is a one-year fixed-term placement (two years maximum), term-time plus 3 weeks (35 weeks) full-time hours. Regular evening and weekend work will form an important part of the job during certain times in the school year and a flexible approach to working hours will be required. Accommodation is provided.

 

The School is a boarding and day school in full operation seven days per week including evenings during term time. Pastoral, co-curricular, cultural and sports activities take place outside normal day-school hours, and candidates will be expected to contribute fully to these activities.
