Prior Park College, overlooking beautiful Bath is looking to appoint a Senior Executive Assistant, a key role providing high quality, confidential administrative services requiring absolute discretion to the Chief Operating Officer and the Prior Park College Headmaster.

The post holder will act as an ambassador for Prior Park Schools, in all matters. A key element of the role is supporting the Chief Operating Officer, in their capacity as Clerk to Trustees in delivery of clerking services to the Board of Trustees. Will also have an extensive range of contacts with stakeholders within and beyond the organisation. Regular contact with Trustees and parents is of particular importance.

The Senior Executive Assistant will liaise with relevant members of staff, as required for the development and maintenance of smooth and effective relationships between academic and Business Services Staff and between other schools within the family of Prior Park Schools.

The role also has responsibility for line management of the School Office Staff, delegating tasks as required, identifying training needs, peer support and coaching as required, and undertaking performance reviews.

Working full time 08:00 – 18:00 term time including CPD and 09:00 – 16:00 during the holidays, 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday including a one-hour unpaid lunch break per day. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required but this will not be the norm. We may ask you to work such additional hours in excess of the normal school opening hours as are reasonably necessary for the proper performance of duties and to meet the needs of the school.
