Sutton Valence School are looking for a dedicated, dynamic, and inspirational temporary teacher to teach Mathematics from January 2026 for two academic terms (until 3rd July 2026). The candidate must promote the highest standards of teaching and learning in the classroom, be innovative and invested in contributing to the development of the Departments, all whilst ensuring an outstanding level of pupil pastoral care.
The candidate should be able to teach an engaging curriculum in Mathematics to all ages and varying levels of ability; it is a necessity to be able to teach A Level Maths. Adaptability and effective differentiation is critical to cater for a broad ability range.
Applicants should have excellent organisational and time-management skills, and enjoy leading and working as part of a team, with an ability to provide effective guidance and support to all colleagues.
The department’s teaching style is very much centred on the pupils and their individual needs, and the successful candidate should be fully committed to this aim.
