A well-qualified graduate is sought as maternity cover to teach French, or French with some German, or German on a fixed term contract for the whole academic year 2023-24. The teaching amounts to around 0.40 FTE but the FTE can be increased with other contributions – for example, becoming a tutor to pupils in a boarding house and/or contributing to the sports coaching programme.
The successful candidate will show a genuine interest in languages and be able to demonstrate a range of language teaching techniques. The post is suitable for someone with experience or new to the profession, with or without a teaching qualification.
