BSA Group team
A team of 22, our staff work remotely, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised team player to support the work of the BSA Group and strengthen our customer-focused, business-minded, commercial, dynamic, ambitious team.

This role is remote so can be located anywhere in the UK provided the post holder is willing to travel for meetings, conferences or to see customers, as required and has the right to work in the UK. (one-year, fixed term, maternity cover)

Start date:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â August 21, 2023
BSA Group is looking to appoint an Operations Director with Finance Experience to join our team on a one-year fixed term contract for a maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Group operations including finance, group KPI and performance, IT and HR.
- Oversee the finance function and ensure that all financial reporting is accurate, timely, and complies with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage the budgeting process, monitor cash flow, and provide regular financial reports to the Board.
- Ensure that the Group meets all legal and regulatory requirements, including employment law, and data protection.
- Oversee the management IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems are safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Oversee the HR function of the Group.
- In conjunction with the Programmes Director and CEO ensure the smooth running of internal and external operations and plans.
- Support the delivery of the strategic plan, working closely with the CEO.
- Provide leadership and support to the wider team, ensuring that all staff are motivated, engaged, and committed to delivering high-quality services to our members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 7 years’ experience in a senior management role.
- Proven experience in managing finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of company regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrable experience in managing team performance and KPI delivery.
- Experience in implementing strategic plans that deliver results.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
