This position is a crucial part of Royal High Bath‘s Sixth Form pastoral and boarding team. As well as deputising for the Housemistress, and assuming an essential role at the heart of Gloucester House, our Sixth Form Boarding House, we are looking for someone to lead, develop and ensure the success of our Sixth Form weekend programme.
The role can be tailored according to your additional skills and preferences such as teaching or support staff roles.
The successful candidate will work with the Sixth Form team and will be responsible for the general welfare and personal development of the boarders in Gloucester House, our Sixth Form Boarding House in accordance with the school policies and regulations provided by the National Minimum Standards for Boarding.
This is a residential boarding role: you will have 48 hours off duty in the working week and will be expected to work alongside the Housemistress during the day and evenings in the Boarding House, except where teaching or other School commitments take you out of the House. With responsibility for leading and running the Sixth Form weekend activity programme, you will be required to work weekends during term time. All duties and overnight on call duties will be designated by the Director of Boarding.
