Ryde School seeks to appoint a full time, all year ’round Examinations Officer, to commence in either May or September 2022. The Examinations Officer has overall responsibility for all examinations in the Senior School at Ryde. This includes their administration, management of results and subsequent follow up and handling of exam access arrangements though some elements of internal exams and scholarship/entrance exams are managed by others. Whilst the majority of external exams are A Level, IB, BTEC and (I)GCSE, we also enter candidates for courses such as Arts Award, university entrance and Sports Leadership and so this is a role that requires managing complex arrangements with high stakes outcomes and liaising sensitively with pupils, parents and staff.
Previous experience in this field is highly desirable, however if the candidate is able to start in May training will be given during a hand-over period. Excellent administrative, IT, time management and communication skills are essential.
