2nd January 2019

For his painting of the school Chapel at Gordon’s in West End, Woking, student Jack Blamire has won a national competition.

Jack’s watercolour of the Grade II Listed Victorian Chapel won the annual Christmas card competition organised by The Prince’s Teaching Institute. It is now being made into their official Christmas card.

The card will be sent to HRH The Prince of Wales’ office as well as schools across the country that are members of the PTI, an organisation founded by The Prince of Wales for the professional development of teachers and school leaders.

The 13 year old from West End, Woking studies art at Gordon’s School and painted the chapel, which was built in memory of the Duke of Clarence, Queen Victoria’s grandson and dedicated to St Edward the Confessor in 1894.
