Gordon's at Passing out Parade
31st July 2018

Making history: Members of the Gordon’s Pipes and Drums Band became the first non-military band to take part in a Parade at the Army Training Regiment, Pirbright Surrey on Friday when they played at the Passing Out Parade.

They joined the band of the Royal Logistic Corps for the passing out of Troops from Morley and Dalton. Gordon’s Pipes and Drums are a unique and famous feature of the state boarding school in Woking, Surrey and since its inception over a century ago, there has always been a band. The school is the only one in the country permitted to march along Whitehall in central London – an annual tradition in remembrance of General Gordon.
