Prep school lend support to BBC Children in Need Day

Fundraising Preparatory School pupils have been doing their part for a nationwide charity.

Rydal Penrhos once again have lent their support to BBC Children in Need Day, which was held across the country on Friday, November 18.

All age groups came to school in their own clothes or in Pudsey bear themed fancy dress for a donation of £2, with all proceeds going to the charity.

In addition there was also be a blank Pusey at the school, where pupils will be tasked with making him as spotty as possible using coins.

Once the bear had been filled, pupils’ took part in a “Guess the Spots” game for 20p a go.

Prep School Head Roger McDuff, said: “It was great to see so many of our pupils getting into the fundraising spirit for BBC Children in Need, which does a phenomenal amount of good work across the country.

“We are very proud of our charity work here at Rydal Penrhos, which helps a large number of regional, national and global organisations in addition to our ongoing work in Uganda."

“Thanks to all staff and pupils who made the event such a success.”
