Young CPS Author Comes First
21st April 2020

Congratulations to budding author, George Kauders. who was delighted to win a story competition in national children's newspaper, First News.

The publication ran a competition inviting young authors to complete a story started by famous children's author, Cressida Cowell, who's currently the Waterstone's Children's Laureate.

Cressida, who wrote the hugely popular How to Train Your Dragon series, wrote the first part of a short story about a dragon and invited young authors to write the next 250 words.

George, aged 9, had his story chosen as the next instalment. It was printed in full in this week's paper with a note of congratulations from the judge. Well done George!

Each week Cressida will choose the best follow on the story until the tale is complete.
