Visiting Flute & Piano Teacher

Starting September 2022

Music plays a significant part in the life of Shiplake College and, as such, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational flute and piano teacher who has the ability to deliver exciting and motivating lessons to pupils on an individual and group basis. Your lessons should include the study of a broad repertoire, sight-reading, aural and theory.

This role would suit a musician who is passionate to share their love of the flute and piano in a collaborative and innovative way.  Students should leave your lessons inspired, enthused and looking forward to their next lesson.  High expectations of pupils and the drive to help them reach their potential is essential.

Applicants must be able to accompany pupils and must be able to demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Our school environment fuels ambition and aspiration; we strive to light a spark, stir up passion, unlock potential and encourage each student to achieve their personal best.
