Maternity Cover – Spring 2025 to February 2026 *
40 contracted hours per week, term time (to included days, nights and weekends on a rota basis)
We are pleased to offer a fixed term vacancy for a NMC registered Nurse with strong nursing experience and organisational skills to join our friendly school team while our Lead Nurse is on maternity leave. While the management of our Health Centre will be overseen by senior pastoral staff, the clinical element of the Lead Nurse’s role needs filling in her absence. The person joining us will be an invaluable member of the health and well-being team.
This cover requires 40 contracted clinical hours made up of day, overnight and weekend shifts during term time, determined by rota. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of a boarding, educational, or similar environment.
The successful candidate should be a confident IT user with experience of MS Office and ideally come data systems knowledge (the school uses iSAMS and CPOMS).

* We anticipate the contract duration will last until February 2026, subject to an earlier return to work by the in-post Nurse. Similarly, the maternity cover Nurse would be considered for any future vacancies available on completion of the initial contract.
The full time equivalent salary for the role is £42,828, pro-rated from £33,438 for 40 contracted hours (inclusive of holiday pay).
