Working for a leading independent boarding School, in this role you will be part of our busy finance team and supporting the Head of Financial Operations by taking the lead on the nominal ledger function ie: reconciliations, balance sheets, journals plus other finance projects.
Ideally you will hold (or be studying for) a finance/accounting qualification, you will have experience of working in a similar role and be calm with excellent time management skills and strong working knowledge of Excel, Sharepoint and Outlook with the ability to manipulate data. You will have meticulous attention to detail and diplomacy, patience and a friendly professional manner and the drive to show initiative and take responsibility to lead projects.
In return we offer a competitive salary £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience, generous pension scheme, free meals during working hours, and a pleasant and interesting working environment, where the education and care of young people is at the heart of everything that we do.
