About The Role 

This role will be a key member of the accounts team supporting the Bursar at the senior school site, mainly working as the fees and sales ledger. The job will entail processing fees for day and boarding pupils from the information given by United Learning from those in reception through to sixth form including fees, chargeable trips and any extras. You will be maintaining the records of all scholarships, bursaries and school discounts, ensuring these are taken into account when processing school fees. This position will have full responsibility of lettings including the development of new relationships and maintaining existing ones. Aside from this, you must be available to cover any purchase ledger duties when the Finance Assistance (Purchase ledger) is away.

It is deemed essential for this person to have previous sales ledger and accounts experience as well as have a good academic level. Proficiency of IT skills are required in Microsoft Office. Within a busy office environment you must be able to show good work ethic and attention to detail with an organised work manner. Lastly this individual must be able to work in a team a collaborative environment in the workplace.

This position is term time only plus 2 weeks and does have the option of flexibility on both working days in terms of start and finish times.
