Using current guidance\, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and Ofsted’s review of sexual abuse in schools\, we’ll examine best practices in identifying risks\, planning interventions\, and creating safer environments. \nTraining topics will include: \n\nIdentifying harmful behaviours\, including harmful sexual behaviour\nUnderstanding diversity\, vulnerability\, and disproportionality\nEffective assessment\, safety planning\, and intervention strategies\nWhole-setting risk assessments and risk mitigation.\n\nLearning outcomes: \n\nRecognise and respond to harmful behaviours using current evidence and guidance\nConduct proportionate risk assessments for individuals and settings\nUnderstand why some children are more vulnerable to harm or harmful behaviour\nApply practical strategies to reduce risk and strengthen safeguarding culture.\n\nBOOK NOW \nSpeakers: \nGaelle Sullivan\, Director of Research\, Inclusion and IELA \nGaelle is Director of Research\, Inclusion and IELA and joined the BSA in January 2023. Prior to joining the BSA\, Gaelle was Deputy Head Pastoral\, DSL and Head of Boarding at an all-girls independent school in the South-East.
