Leading Boarding Forward - A Diploma level course for senior boarding staff
This is a taught course with three study days and three assignments
Dates: Wednesday, 12 March 2014, Monday, 16 June 2014 & Thursday, 16 October 2014
Venue: Baden Powell House, 65-67 Queens Gate, London, SW7 5JS
Cost: £570 per delegate (£714 for non-members)
This covers the three study days, including lunch and refreshments on each day, fees for the external speakers, associated tutor costs, and the costs of marking and moderation of course assignments.
Audience: This course is aimed at senior boarding staff. Candidates may have previously completed the BSA Certificate course and/or being suitably experienced to benefit from this leadership course.
Applicants will need to provide a CV in addition to the attached application proforma.
Key Elements of the Diploma Programme: Strategic aspects of boarding, including the statutory framework, leading the team – how to get the best out of your boarding team, managing quality – evaluation and preparing for inspection, managing conflict - a key facet of the senior staff role, staff development, appraisal and performance management and marketing – a whole team approach
