A group of aspiring Performing Artists shine on stage as part of their involvement with a prestigious academy recently.
The Preparatory School trio of Amelia Williams, Maggie McDuff and Grace Watkins, together with Year 7 Academic and Music scholar Perry Williams, are all part of the Pauline Quirk Performing Arts Academy and they were given the chance to perform with G4 on their tour date at Venue Cymru on Sunday, September 9.
Having exploded into the industry and the public's hearts back in 2004 on the first series of the X-Factor, G4 gave a wonderful demonstration of their unique style and impactful harmonic vocals, which are incomparable to any other.
Among the songs performed were Bohemian Rhapsody, My Way, Nessun Dorma and Creep, with Perry, Amelia, Grace and Maggie accompanying them with other members of the Llandudno-based Academy.
The quartet have all progressed their singing and acting skills since joining the scheme, and this is further enhanced by the Music and Drama teaching they receive as part of Rydal Penrhos’ extensive academic and co-curricular programme.
Prep School Head Alison Hind, said: “Amelia, Perry, Grace and Maggie have come on leaps and bounds as part of the Academy, and this was another wonderful experience that is sure to aid their overall development considerably.
“They are very enthusiastic, show a tremendous willingness to learn and have a superb amount of natural talent, and everyone at Rydal Penrhos is enormously proud of the courage and determination they showed on stage.”
