A host of former Rugby Academy stars helped RGC to an Easter Bank Holiday weekend to remember.
The ex-pupils were in fantastic form for the Gogs, who picked up a pair of impressive victories as they continue their pursuit of the Principality Premiership title.
They began on Good Friday with a 55-26 success over Cross Keys at Stadiwm Zip World in Colwyn Bay, which saw forward Mei Parry and Danny Cross both help themselves to scores during the rout.
This was swiftly followed by their sensational 64-21 victory at title rivals Cardiff on Monday in front of the S4C cameras, with full-back Dion Jones adding to his outstanding performances throughout the campaign with two more tries to add to his collection.
Scrum-half and former Welsh U18 international Efan Jones also went over in the second half, with Cross aiding his sides cause with a series of successful conversion attempts.
Joe Simpson also started both contests and contributed significantly to their triumphs.
The Rydal Penrhos Rugby Academy is run in partnership with RGC and the Welsh Rugby Union, and the programme has produced a large number of senior squad members for the Gogs, in addition to others that are plying their trade for top-flight sides across the country.
Director of Sport Allen Boyd, said: “This was another magnificent weekend for RGC and our former pupils, who continue to demonstrate their immense prowess during an extremely important part of the season.
“The development they received here was a solid foundation for them to build, and to see so many of them enhancing their reputations all across the country and semi-pro and professional level is a real vindication of the outstanding work being done by the Rugby Academy.”
